Dr. R.A. Sastry is a Professor and Senior Consultant, Surgical Gastroentrology Laparoscopic and MIS at KIMS Hospital, Hyderabad. He received his MBBS from JIPMER, Pondicherry (1974). He got his M.S. (Surgery) PGIMER, Chandigarh (1978). Dr. Sastry worked as a Professor and Head, Department of Surgical Gastroenterology, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad from 1987 to 2012. Dr. Sastry Professional experiences were President, International Hepato-pancreato-biliary Association (IHPBA, India) from 2013 to 2015 and Past President, Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology. He has authored over 42 publications in indexed journals and he wrote 17 Chapters in Text Books.
