Dr. (Smt.) G.V.V.S. Kanaka Bhushanam, MD., DGO., is a Member of KIMS Ethics Committee, KIMS Hospitals, Secunderabad. She retired as former Director of Insurance Medical Services, Andhra Pradesh. She received her Master’s degree and Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics from Andhra University. Dr. (Smt.) Kanaka Bhushanam has served for 30 years in different capacities in Department of Health-Govt. of A.P. She worked as Head of the department of Gynaecology for 15 years (1985–2000) in three important ESI Hospitals like Hyderabad, Vizag & Vijayawada. Dr. Bhushanam is also worked as Professor of Gynaecology, Siddhartha Medical College; Superintendent of ESI Hospitals, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam; Joint Director, Family Welfare and Joint Director–Medical; Director of Insurance Medical Services from 2001 to 2008.
